Who we are
A Safe Haven for Vulnerable and Persecuted Children
Freedom418 rescues children displaced by violence, persecution, poverty, and extreme hardship in northern Nigeria, and gives them refuge, care, and hope for a new future.
We offer a loving and secure home where children are protected, nurtured, and restored, and where they are discipled in the love of Christ, taught God’s Word, and raised in an atmosphere of faith, stability, and compassion.

The First Children Have Arrived
By God’s grace, 28 children are now living in safety. On our last visit they welcomed us with joyful songs, shared testimonies over lunch, received gifts and school supplies from two churches, and celebrated with a Kids Crusade in front of the center.

Goodnews Christian School
Free Christian Education for Every Child
Education breaks the cycle of hardship. Through Goodnews Christian School, every Freedom418 child receives a free Christian education, with classrooms, teachers, and uniforms, so they can grow academically as well as spiritually.
We are raising a generation who will be healed, educated, and grounded in faith, ready to lead and serve their communities for Christ.
Building the Refuge Center
A Permanent Home for Rescued Children
The children live in a rented facility today. On the five acres we have purchased, we are building the Freedom418 Children’s Refuge Center: a place of protection, healing, discipleship, and education.

What the center will include

Vision 2030
Rescue 1,000 Children by 2030
These children are fleeing violence, persecution, abandonment, and extreme hardship. By God’s grace, we are believing to bring 1,000 of them into a place where they can be protected, healed, educated, and discipled in the love of Jesus Christ.
Our next step: rescue 30 more children
Help us reach our $5,000 goal to bring 30 vulnerable children from terrorist-affected communities to safety at the refuge.
